Welcome to South East Health Technologies Alliance (SEHTA), our latest Alliance Partner.

The International Centre of Excellence in Telecare (ICE-T) was developed by the South East Health Technologies Alliance (SEHTA).

ICE-T aims to build sustainable telecare businesses by capitalising on the benefits and global market potential of telecare and telehealth.

ICE-T will achieve this through:

Identifying clear market need by facilitating workshops and discussions between potential users of telecare products and services and suppliers
Issuing Calls for proposals based on these discussions and funding innovative projects that develop products and services to meet the user-need
Facilitating the formation of collaborative project consortia through networking and partnership
Establishing a network of showcase sites across the region which:

   - offer facilities for action research
   - showcase products and services that provide solutions to the problems of health and social care delivery
   - establish external contacts to act as test sites and provide initial routes to market for technologies and services developed by ICE-T projects and partners
